Thank you for helping to make Growsmart 2011 a success



The following individuals, businesses and organisations have made indispensable contributions to the success of Growsmart.

Team Sebenza
Thank you for all the external redecoration of Beacon View Primary (Winning school 2011). This included the repairs to the wall leading into the school, repairs to the spalling concrete in various places, replacing of the downpipes, refurbishment of the toilets for boys and girls, painting of the exterior of the school front facades including the admin area and two prefabricated classrooms as well as some waterproofing and ceiling repairs.
Schmidhauser Thanks for replacing about 50 light fittings and installing 4 additional spot lights. They also repaired some light fittings and cleaned and serviced the electrical distribution board.
Pick n Pay Pick n Pay, Longbeach Mall and MontClare – thanks for sponsoring Brain Packs for students on each of the Level 1 Competition rounds.
Fashion World
Thank you for sponsoring platters with food during the competition rounds.
Spar
Spar, Constantia Village sponsored cookies for the 1st Round of Growsmart Competition.
Koreserv
Thank you for cleaning 40 classrooms of the winning school , Beacon View Primary. Areas Koreserv covered includes: walls, floors, windows and dusting. They also disinfected and cleaned the toilet areas and scrubbed the landings and stairways.
Waltons
Waltons, Constantia Village sponsored 400 water bottles and 18 back to school packs.
