Growsmart is a fun and interactive competition that is curriculum- based to empower and educate learners in grades 4, 5 & 6. Competition subjects in the Growsmart Educational Programme are Literacy, Story Writing & Poetry, Mathematics, Science, Debating and Entrepreneurship.

Here are a few ways to get involved as a volunteer
Growsmart welcomes volunteers to assist on the days of the competition. Help is needed to register schools; escort learners to and from competition rooms; hand out packed lunches and certificates.
Are you a retired teacher?
Each story writing & poetry book submitted is marked twice for each of the three participating provinces. We need your help to read and mark these stories. This takes place at the Growthpoint Cape Town head office.
Growsmart provides a packed lunch to all learners during competition days. Perhaps your place of work, or your family would like to sponsor the
food for one of the
Saturdays?
