Lauren’s first year at Christel House started in January 2013. After two weeks, Lauren was already smiling from ear to ear. “I found the change from my old school to my new one quite intimidating at first. I was experiencing a mixture of emotions – I felt blessed to have been given such an opportunity, but I was also very nervous about the new experience,” said Lauren.
“I have everything that I need here at Christel House. And what I don’t have, I can ask for and it’s given to me.”
Lauren is very happy with her new friends and environment. “The children who attend Christel House have positive attitudes and are very disciplined,” she said.
Lauren wants to pursue a career in music. “I would love to become a singer and own a recording studio. In preparation for my career, I’m now taking Arts and Culture.”
