Tamsin Pretorius from Palm Park Primary School, was a third place winner in the 2014 Growsmart Literacy Competition.
Tamsin was one of five learners from her school to apply for a bursary at Settlers High School. Her application stood out and Tamsin was called in to write a test which she passes with flying colours.
“I have worked very hard for this bursary,” said Tamsin. “I wanted to get into a good school and I knew that with good marks and dedication I could do it. I am very happy and look forward to starting at my new school.”
